In March 2014, Brian and Carrie Miyake purchased Tree In A Box, from owners Art and Kristine Akins. The Akins, who established the company in 1991, will be retiring to start a new life adventure.Their daughter, the original Princess of Trees, has passed her crown down to the young daughter of the new owners.
