Shipping
Standard kit orders are shipped same or next business day depending on time order is received. Custom orders can take 48 hours or more depending on order size and level of customization.
When selecting a shipping speed, please note that the day of shipment is not counted in travel time. For example, if you place an order that ships on Monday and select 2 day Air, Monday does not count as one day. The order will typically arrive Wednesday (Tuesday = Day 1 and Wednesday = day 2)
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to Hawaii.
International Shipping
Tree In A Box currently has the ability to ship US (excluding Hawaii) and Canadian addresses. We have some capabilities to ship to other countries, please contact us if you are outside the US or Canada and we will look into regulations for shipping our product to your location.
Orders being shipped to Canada require a USDA Phytosanitary certificate. The cost for this certificate varies based on the total order amount, $61 for orders valued at $1,249 and under and $106 for orders valued $1,250 and over. This fee is shown as a handling fee in your shopping cart.
Please note that there may be additional duties and taxes due on your end. Once the product is in your country, we have no control over the length of time it will take for it to clear customs.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened orders within 15 days of delivery for a refund of product costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer. We cannot accept returns outside of the 15 day return window.
Birthday kits, corporate kits, Wedding/party favors, special occasion/holiday kits, and other custom orders cannot be returned for a refund due to the nature of the product.
If you received the wrong product due to our error, Tree In A Box will cover the cost of return shipping.
Tree In A Box is not responsible for delivery delays due to carrier issues such as weather delays, strikes, train delays, and other things outside of Tree In A Box's control once the package has been given to the shipping carrier.
To request a return or refund: Contact Tree In A Box at trees@treeinabox.com prior to shipping your return to get further return details. Please include a copy of your order receipt with your return.
